Music and lyrics by Damon Waitkus
Lyrics
Jonathan is looking very closely
at at a tree trunk that is crawling with life.
He shudders and wants to run,
but instead, he’s finding out
that when you squish those furry fingers,
their insides ooze an almost fluorescent
shade of green, like paint.
(too much, too much…)
Finally, he calls out:
“Come out in the yard, Daddy!
There is light everywhere!”
